| Julie Fulkerson, artist, illustrator and wildlife biologist, creates realistic images of wildlife and nature in scratchboard, colored pencil and pastel. This year, her artwork can be seen at the Lake Oswego Open Show in June, Ft. Worden Wildlife and Nature Art Expo in October, and the Portland Audubon Society’s Wild Arts Festival in November.
Through her company, Wildland Graphics, she works with wildlife and natural resource agencies and organizations. She provides illustration, graphic design and editing services. Her background as a wildlife biologist gives her greater understanding and insight into environmental issues. Her clients include Ducks Unlimited, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, American Fisheries Society and Mt. Hood Community College.
