Julie Fulkerson, artist, illustrator and wildlife biologist, creates realistic images of wildlife and nature in scratchboard, colored pencil and pastel. This year, her work can be seen at the Colored Pencil Society Chapter Show (April) and the Ft. Worden Wildlife and Nature Show in Port Townsend in October. See the Calendar Page for more information. Through her company, Wildland Graphics, she works with wildlife and natural resource agencies and organizations. She provides illustration, graphic design and editing services. Her background as a wildlife biologist gives her greater understanding and insight into environmental issues. Her clients include Ducks Unlimited, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, American Fisheries Society and Mt. Hood Community College.
