The Brandt’s cormorant is another coastal seabird. It is graced with beautiful blue eyes, a matching throat pouch and bright white plumes on its neck and shoulders. It is a social bird, nesting in large groups of its own kind and also with common murres. This bird was sketched on its nest while incubating eggs.
