I usually create pictures of wild animals, because that is what inspires me most. But I have had a weakness for domestic sheep ever since we had a small herd when I was growing up. I go to shows like the Flock and Fiber Festival every year to get my sheep fix. I love their eyes and the smell of their wool. I especially like the southwest sheep for their multicolored wool and their impressive curling horns.

When I saw this handsome specimen, I knew I would be creating this picture.
