Sometimes I see a really nice setting that’s just needing the right animal to make it shine. But in this case, my subject just waltzed in all on his own. We watched this coyote for some time at a marsh in Point Reyes National Seashore. He was walking along the banks and mudflats at low tide. He (she?) stopped briefly to eye some ducks across a streambed but didn’t try to grab them. Must not have been mealtime.
